Brakes

100_2147.jpgToday my brother Doug came over and helped me install the drum brakes. Actually, he installed the drum brakes and I watched. We also stuck the larger rear tires back on which makes the car look so much better.

1930 Ford Model A

He finished this approximately June 2007. He bought all the pieces separately and assembled it himself, including painting and sanding.

Ford 1928 Model A

This was the very first street rod that he built. He gets better with each car that he does. Right now, we’re building my T-Bucket from a model kit, so that is consuming his time. I’ve found that his help has been invaluable. Read the rest of this entry »

Baby, You Got A Great Body

Choose the Orange

Chevy Orange EngineDespite being a Ford, we chose the Chevy Orange Engine for our car. Here it is, after we’ve picked it up used.

We picked it up a little premature but we got it for a good deal and we eventually need it.
